Here’s an interesting statistic for all of our lovely followers: on average, we sleep for ⅓ of our life or to put it into perspective, about 25 years of our life is spent sleeping (you’re probably wondering what you’ve done with your life, don’t worry--you’re not alone). Therefore, it's a no-brainer that we should invest more time into choosing our home essentials.

A blissful night’s sleep all starts in the sheets. Here’s where our expertise comes in. Essentially, it all boils down to preference. If you prefer a light and lived-in comfort that is crisp and breathable, then we would recommend linen sheets. Linen sheets are perfect for all-season use and are constructed using flax.

Next, let’s talk weaving. Percale and Sateen are two common types of weaves that directly affect a sheet’s texture and appearance. Sateen is weaved using a one-under and three-over technique, which makes sateen a little more warmer and heavier than percale. Sateen is perfect for those that love a little flair and sheen to their sheets. Moreover, it’s a match made in heaven for cold sleepers. Percale is weaved using a one-over and one-under technique, which means more air can come in and out. This makes percale lighter and crisper. However, us being the innovators we are, have made our essential percale sheets softer and smoother than traditional percale, by washing the sheets prior to spinning the fibers together. Percale is perfect for warm sleepers and is ideal for all-season use.

The last element to assure blissful sleep is to select your top of the bed essentials. This includes duvet covers, inserts, and blankets. We’ve incorporated our own “twist” into our duvets. Those that adore warmth, breathability and an immediately soft-hand feel, would love our cotton-rich hotel duvets. On the other hand, if you’re looking for something more breathable and lightweight, then our percale duvets would be the best fit for you.
